Dr. Raymond Tang

Dr. Ray’s number one priority as a dental professional is to establish a trustworthy relationship with you. This enables him to provide the highest quality of dental care and fulfill your expectations.  He believes the success of any dentist/patient relationship is based on three principles: transparency, accountability, and communication. 

Born and raised in Boston, Dr. Ray completed his predoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.  Immediately after, he earned his specialist certification at an intensive prosthodontics residency program at the Boston VA Healthcare System, in conjunction with the Boston University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Ray’s professional career has been spent in both the private sector as well as servicing the veteran population within the New England VA Healthcare system. Previously, he served as the Chief of Dental Services in VA Maine, VA Providence, and VA Manchester. Today, he’s excited to be a part of Wayland Dental and is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry as well as the Academy of Osseointegration.

Outside of the office, Dr. Ray likes to stay active by working out, and he and his wife also love visiting and hiking through National Parks.
